Step Lightly, Step Rightly

Ever wonder how the Leopard (Panthera pardus) can crouch low, nearly dragging its belly on the ground, and still stealthily sneak up on prey?   The Leopard steps within its own footprints.  Where the front paw goes, the back paw follows exactly.

What will our day look like if we do the same only we follow the prints of Jesus? As Believers, we often talk about whether we are doing everything we can to gather people to Christ’s kingdom. We talk about projects we can do, Bible studies we can offer, discussions to be had. But one simple instruction given by Jesus is key to being an effective Christian.

Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” (NIV)

Father, Today I pray I follow YOU close to make an impact for Your kingdom. Amen.
